Have I damaged my orchid beyond repair? I recently purchased my first orchid, a Phalaenopsis.?

It had 10 beautiful blooms and two unopened ones. I placed it close to a south sliding gl door. One of the unopened blooms opened. It did very well for 7 to 10 days, but I noticed that a couple of leaves were getting dark spots, like it was burning. I read the leaf color if this plant should be light green rather than the very dark emerald green like mines. A week later a spot on one leaf started to lighten. Initially, I gave it very little water. The second watering, 3 or 4 days later, I gave it at least a 1/4 cup tap water.. Now, I know that I have overwatered the plant and probably had it placed wrong (too much indirect light). The leaves have wilted and all except one of the blooms wilted and I think a fungus (white spots on one leaf) was developing. I have cut the wilted leaves and the fungus leaf. My question is, can this plant be saved? I am afraid of damaging it further. Should I place it in darkness for a few days? what should I do?

The martin bow is deff a good bow. I use a mathews bow myself but it was a bit expensive. Worth every penny i spent tho. But back to you I would deff see how the bow feels in your hand first and if you feel comftable with it. Another thing I would add is not to go higher than 55-60 pounds on the draw weight. There is no need for it unless you are hunting bears. You may say 70 pounds is easy for me to pull back tho......wait until you decide to hunt winter bow tho....it won't be as easy your musscles lock up in the cold weather.

I'm writing a version of the Little Mermaid, but darker. I'm having trouble coming up with names for my mermaid characters, including the "Ariel" character. Iraq War : Who should decide whether it was right or wrong?

Well, everyone has a right to their opinion, but I think time will tell whether it was right or wrong. Some people keep prattling on that the war was illegal, that isn't what the inquiry into it found, but because the inquiry doesn't agree with them they will just keep prattling on. As for not going to war if a country hasn't gone to war with you, what utter rubbish, if we stood by that principle then we wouldn't have entered World War 1. Someone on the television the other night said the majority of Iraqis felt the war was worth it, whether that is true or not I don't know, but neither do others on here and taking the opinions of just two Iraqis can in no way be regarded as an insight into what the majority of those feel who actually live in Iraq. If the majority of Iraqis feel the war is worth it, considering the hundreds of thousands of them that were killed, then I think we should take some notice. If it brings democracy to Iraq, then I believe that to be a good thing as most Iraqis, like most other people, want to live in peace and will elect someone with the same beliefs. They do not want to live in a society where they can be yanked from their beds at any time and tortured or killed, as was the case under Saddam. He was an evil tyrant and a threat to world peace. He may not have had WMD's at the time of the invasion, but I suspect at some point in the future he would have had them. He even said himself that he had them, and that, along with continuing to ignore UN resolutions, was enough in itself to go to war on. I personally believe that his removal will make the world a far safer place in time. Where I think we are wrong is just removing certain tyrants, I believe we should go after others, like Robert Mugabe for instance. I agree, what I did to get started that really helped me is start taking pictures for your school, like if you have newspaper or an art cl. and get the teacher's help then go to your local library and ask them do they hold photography things most libraries do. How can I make conversation with my best friend and stop it from being awkward?

I am 13 years old, and I have lots of great, chatty friends who I have no problem talking to and laughing with, but when I'm with one of my best friends, David, it is really awkward, and we barley talk to each other in school. If we are walking down the corridor, we won't walk together and we won't talk at all, which makes me feel really bad like he doesn't like me, because he talks to my other friends just fine and it is just with me that he turns quiet. Part of the problem is the fact that I don't want to speak in case he will think that I'm a loser and judge me, but then I think, what if he is thinking that as well, and we don't talk to each other because we think that the other person will judge? As I said, he has no problem talking to anyone else, and when I am sat next to him, and he leans over to talk to someone else (because of the awkwardness), it makes me feel really bad like he doesn't want to talk to me. Despite all of this, there are times (it's usually about once or twice a day), where for a long period of time, I will make him laugh really hard, and he will tap me on the shoulder and talk to me as though nothing is wrong. I know that the way to make him talk to me is to be funny, but I cannot do it all of the time, so when I'm not and he doesn't talk to me, my confidence takes a blow and I must work to make him laugh again. This fall i'm majoring in MET 4 year degree at Purdue University calumet and going to join their ASE Club. Chris Paul = fantasy gold. He all but won the championship for me 2 yrs ago. The next 3 would be great to have if it weren't a Rotisserie league (which means your ranked on categories won/lost). They will win you the scoring category but you may lose out on ist and TO categories. For a beginner, you should really try out a straight up system where a rebound is worth one point, an ist is worth one, etc. As far as your current scoring system with the decimal places, try to look at your league settings to see exactly how that's calculated. Usually, in a 12 team league, if you get the most total rebounds, you get 12 points (and vice versa, if you get the least total rebounds for the week, you get 1 point). It really differs across many leagues so it's a little tough to answer your question at face value.

So the check I write out for our son's coverage uses after-tax dollars and is made out to my employer, not to the health insurance company. Will we be able to deduct the amount corresponding with the cost of our son's coverage on our taxes? Question about fps on wow with a new computer?

Still not good because basically the Intel GMA 3100 is still a weak integrated graphics. It has no hardware vertex shader, thus has poor 3D graphics acceleration. You may get a few FPS improvement for WoW but still not exciting. It is the real graphics cards (dedicated type) that will turn your PC really exciting for many 3D games, including WoW of course.

Last night, about 3:00 am, I had a dream that I was in the park and a beautiful woman came up to me and started rubbing her hands all over me. Then she started caressing my private parts. Then she told me that if I ever touched that wh--- woman again, that she would make me loose these. Then I woke to a pain in the groin so great that I almost threw up. It was like someone punched me hard in-between my legs. I was home alone. I don't see how pain that great could be in anyway be related to sleep paralysis. After I opened my eyes, I could see the same woman floating above me. As she floated above me, she told me that I now belonged to her and no one else and that no woman better ever touch me again or they would die. After floating above me for about 2 minutes, she then ascended up through the ceiling and was gone. It scared the he-- out of me. I am convinced this is not sleep paralysis that I am actually being haunted by a spirit that is more than likely a succubus. What do think? What should I do?

A good outdoor/baby camera?

I have an Olympus digital camera that I like but it takes so long to take the picture you hold the on done and it is seconds before the picture snaps! I miss so many cute pics of all the babies! I am looking for a GOOD baby camera one that snaps pic quickly that have a good focus and clear pic. Me not knowing alot about camera has NO clue what to look for the camera I have is about a $350 camera that had all the bigger numbers as far as pixels and stuff like that so I thought it would be a good fast picture taking camera and it is not! I think dreams are trying to tell us something and by having recurring dreams the message is really trying to get through to you! No, of course you're not a psycho, and mainly in the dream you're trying to protect yourself and your girlfriend so it's not just pointless violence. Maybe this 'thing' that you're having to kill in the dream actually represents something in real life, like some part of your life, or some side of yourself, that you're trying to kill in order to protect your relationship. I started having violent dreams as a result of drug use and I think alcohol and drugs can create violence in general but obviously that might not be a factor in your life at all. I would actually consider having the head of my bed facing north! Good luck.

You haven't control over how to over clock (And for god sake don't youtube it) then rather mail me about how to overclock. And just a tip for Overclocking always do it in 2 ways AND DON'T COMBINE 'EM!... Either on Desktop where you have a program and you can monitor your heat level, or in the main bios. Where you shall watch your heating level and try to combine voltage with clock speed. And get a good heatsink for overclocking. It is actually 200 Mhz your overclocking on a "fairly" standard CPU.

1997 Honda Prelude problems?

hey ive got a '97 honda prelude with 195000km on it. when i start the car up in the morning, the idle sometimes revs up and down between 1000 and 2000 rpm.. problem ? Also, when accelerating, it seems that the car jerks when im at 4000 rpm and the VTECH barely kicks in. Ive read up and cant find the thing to fix it. I was just outside idling the motor and notices there was smoke coming out of under the engine (probably burning oil). when i looked under, the catalytic converter was the cause of the smoke. it was smoking pretty bad (not black smoke). So is the catalytic converter the problem to the high/low idling and my bad acceleration ?

I have a ni-cad battery pack(photo-flash) that is has expired. I want to re-cell it.It has 18 1.2 volt "sub-c" batteries inside. As long as I meet the voltage, will that work just as well, with larger batteries, rather than all the little ones?
