6 year old causing problems?

Hi Hannah- it is a rough situation when the child isn't a member of your immediate family. I have a very spoiled 6 yr. old daughter, who gets her way a lot of times too, but she knows that breaking anyones things (including her own) is not an acceptable behavior! The little girls' parents should be teaching her better. I guess, the best thing for you to do, is during those 3-4 times a year when you know they will be coming, put anything valuable, or anything you don't want this child to touch, away. Hide your things somewhere that the child won't be able to get to or find. Also, I would tell Melanie how you feel, since shes your best friend.
