If werewolves were real?

I believe in "True Blood" they used vampires as their coexistent neighbor instead of werewolves because vampire were humans once so it's sort of easier to cope with. Whereas, werewolves they just be mindless dogs running around the city tormenting people. If True Blood did coexist with werewolves instead pf vampires I think the wolves would be cut off from a certain part of the city as they did in the movie District 9.
