Just the flu or something else?

i have a really bad sore throat and my nose is runny and also my chest is clogged up. i odnt wanna go to the doctor but then one of my co-workers said it could be serious like strep throat or bronchitis. i work at a school so im pretty sure thats where i picked it up. anyways what does the symptoms sound like?
