DNA, Blood, Cells, and Copper?

Forgive me because Im not the smartest when it comes to Biology. This may not be asked in the correct way so I hope you understand. If a certain amount of copper, not sure if its radioactive copper, alien copper(smile) but copper none the less was injected into a person, what would the effects be on his or her health? Cells? Blood? I just read after digging how Copper is a very low vibrating metal, zinc not vibrating at all. But how long would it stay in the system? Basically what the effects be on the Dna? Would it cause winding. rewinding, unwinding. Ugh I hope I made sense. This is all new to me. A friend, something odd happened to him as a child, and he had all these tests performed on him, and he remembers them injecting Copper (after researching, help from others who went thru these weird tests as well) into his system, for what effect? he is not sure. Weird government stuff, but were just trying to unwind this mystery, by unlocking the codes, so could anyone possible tell of the effects of copper, in the blood??? Thanks
