Can somebody tell me why are we having so many damn earthquakes in Mexicali Baja California?

Scientist says is a "swarm", Never heard of one before, like 500 quakes so far since 3 weeks ago, the bigger was 5.4 and 3 more over 5 degrees most of them in the 3's
