I keep having really violent dreams, am I a psycho?

I think dreams are trying to tell us something and by having recurring dreams the message is really trying to get through to you! No, of course you're not a psycho, and mainly in the dream you're trying to protect yourself and your girlfriend so it's not just pointless violence. Maybe this 'thing' that you're having to kill in the dream actually represents something in real life, like some part of your life, or some side of yourself, that you're trying to kill in order to protect your relationship. I started having violent dreams as a result of drug use and I think alcohol and drugs can create violence in general but obviously that might not be a factor in your life at all. I would actually consider having the head of my bed facing north! Good luck.
