Anyone get pregnant after they thought it was impossible, and gave up?

♦ I had a miscarriage in 1993, I didn't get pregnant again until almost 10 years later, had a healthy baby boy in 2003, and another baby boy in 2008. I was actually thinking about adoption, thinking that was the only way I could become a mom, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with adopting. My cousin was told she had a very slim chance of getting pregnant, so she did adopt a baby boy, and 3 years after that, she found out she was pregnant, she ended up having twins (one boy, one girl)... I guess because the pressure was off, and she wasn't really thinking about it much, but not trying to prevent it either, is why it happened.
