Where did julius caesar and Cleopatra meet?

They met first in Alexandria, Egypt in 47BC. Caesar was there chasing Pompey (who had already been killed by the Egyptians). Cleopatra visited him in secret, or was smuggled in to him (possibly in a carpet) in a bid to secure the throne of Egypt for herself using Roman power.
