Iraq War : Who should decide whether it was right or wrong?

Well, everyone has a right to their opinion, but I think time will tell whether it was right or wrong. Some people keep prattling on that the war was illegal, that isn't what the inquiry into it found, but because the inquiry doesn't agree with them they will just keep prattling on. As for not going to war if a country hasn't gone to war with you, what utter rubbish, if we stood by that principle then we wouldn't have entered World War 1. Someone on the television the other night said the majority of Iraqis felt the war was worth it, whether that is true or not I don't know, but neither do others on here and taking the opinions of just two Iraqis can in no way be regarded as an insight into what the majority of those feel who actually live in Iraq. If the majority of Iraqis feel the war is worth it, considering the hundreds of thousands of them that were killed, then I think we should take some notice. If it brings democracy to Iraq, then I believe that to be a good thing as most Iraqis, like most other people, want to live in peace and will elect someone with the same beliefs. They do not want to live in a society where they can be yanked from their beds at any time and tortured or killed, as was the case under Saddam. He was an evil tyrant and a threat to world peace. He may not have had WMD's at the time of the invasion, but I suspect at some point in the future he would have had them. He even said himself that he had them, and that, along with continuing to ignore UN resolutions, was enough in itself to go to war on. I personally believe that his removal will make the world a far safer place in time. Where I think we are wrong is just removing certain tyrants, I believe we should go after others, like Robert Mugabe for instance. And before anyone asks, I also believe we are right to get involved in helping the Libyans remove Gaddaffi, yet another tyrant who makes his people live in fear of him. I truly believe that bringing democracy to the middle east is the biggest step towards bringing about world peace.
